About Us

Y.E.S. children’s Ministry is an
outreach Ministry that includes adults and children. The Ministry aims is to up bring underprivileged children in Africa.

This is a non-government, nonprofit, and non-ethnic organization founded by pastor Graciene Marcia Riche and deacon Yves Edgard Riche in 2014.

The vision of establishing a ministry that would focus on the development of breadline children in Africa overwhelmed the couple while residing in the United States of America. In March 2007, they were moved to Liberia by this urge to establish the ” Yielding Everlasting Success (Y.E.S.) Children’s Ministry.”  In 2014, Y. E. S. Children’s Ministry officially began with about sixty (60) children between the ages of five (5) and twelve (12) years old. As time went by, pastor Graciene and deacon Yves started the construction of a small shelter, a chapel, followed by an elementary school. Presently, the school has been upgraded. The school is operating from Nursery to Senior high. Currently, Graciene and Yves are providing shelter, food, clothes, minor medical, education, Bible fellowship and more for twenty-four children residing in the home. The Ministry through its strong support staff strongly believes that someday the less fortunate children in Africa will reach their full potentials despite their initial challenges. Since the establishment of the Y. E. S. Children’s Ministry, it has been supported financially by pastor Graciene M. Riche and deacon Yves Edgard Riche. The Ministry’s visionaries are encouraging people in Africa and the world at large to be like Pharaoh’s daughter in the lives of underprivileged children regardless of religion:

     Exodus2:6

“When she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, this is one of the Hebrews ‘children

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide a total transformation for children who parents are and continue to be affected by civil war in Africa. For example, in Liberia, some of those war affected parents stay remain homeless, jobless and face severe poverty creating the condition in which their children have become underprivileged. However, with the presence of Y. E. S. Children’s Ministry all hope is not lost as the saying goes in Liberia, “a female alone can give birth to a child, but the bringing up of the child is the responsibility of everyone”.  Y. E. S. Children’s  Ministry focuses to carry on the mission in an abuse free Christian environment and desires to care for the underprivileged children spiritually, emotionally and physically by providing the following:

  • A loving home
  • Schooling
  •  Food and Clothes
  • Vocational
  • Medical care
  • Biblical studies and fellowship.

OUR VISION

Y. E. S. Children’s Ministry vision is to see underprivileged children in Africa reach their full potential despite their initial beginnings, to see those children filled with the knowledge of Christ as their Lord and personal Savior and to see children who have become self-sufficient and fully empowered and free from abuse. Finally Y. E. S. Children’s Ministry wants to see children who have grown up and are prepared to enter their African society as future leaders and mentors to others and are taking on their responsibilities overcoming some of the challenges of life.
